EASY INTEGRATION FOR EXPRESS ROLL-OUT OF UNIVERSAL VIEWING AND MARK-UP

Like ViewONE, ViewONE Pro can be integrated at the most basic level by copying and pasting HTML code from the ViewONE Pro HTML & Installation Manual, and like ViewONE, ViewONE Pro has a wealth of parameters to help you to tailor your implementation of the viewer to match your web user requirements.

One of the key differences between ViewONE and ViewONE Pro is the Advanced Cache Manager™ (ACM™) which stores ViewONE Pro in a location of your choosing, outside of the main browser cache, improving the start-up time of the viewer after first caching. Sample HTML is provided in the manual to assist you with defining the cache location for the ACM.

ViewONE Pro is a modular product, meaning that you can purchase and add additional functionality to the viewer on the fly. Integrating the additional modules into your implementation is easy – the initial download of ViewONE Pro includes all the currently available modules, so the only update you’ll need is to copy the new ViewONE Pro license file (lic.v1), supplied to you by the Daeja sales team, into your ViewONE files directory to overwrite your current license file. Once unlocked, the new functionality will then be immediately available to all your users. As more modules are released, new product updates will be posted to the Daeja website for purchase and download.

In addition to the main product parameters, each optional module includes parameters for configuring its use specific to your implementation. Included in the ViewONE Pro HTML and Installation Manual are parameters for the Advanced Cache Manager (ACM), the PDF Module and the Universal Viewing Module, in addition to document indexation options for text or thumbnail document views.

In addition to the automatic caching that operates for both Daeja viewers, ViewONE Pro also includes an option to ‘push install’ the viewer to your user base and the manual includes some basic sample HTML code to demonstrate this process in use.
