AIIM Expo 2006 Update - Pennsylvania Convention Center, Phildelphia

ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL YEAR FOR DAEJA

It's been another hugely successful AIIM show for Daeja Image Systems. The large numbers of visitors to the booth were treated to demonstrations of the following new technologies:

		Permanent redaction of TIFF images using ViewONE Pro
		ViewONE Pro's annotations burning module offers the ability to permanently redact images, using a configurable server-side component. Once burnt, the data below the redaction has been permanently deleted, allowing the document to be emailed or viewed outside of the ViewONE Pro environment. 		Exceptional startup time using QuickStart for ViewONE & ViewONE Pro
		ViewONE and ViewONE Pro's QuickStart significantly reduces the startup time (once enabled) required to launch the Daeja viewers. Enabled through a simple tick option within the viewer menus, QuickStart cuts valuable seconds off the Java and browser startup times. For more information email: marketing@daeja.com
		ViewONE Pro's 'Universal Viewing' Beta
		ViewONE Pro's PDF and DjVu modules demonstrated Daeja's ability to plug in third-party libraries to deliver additional format support. Our 'Universal Viewing' beta demonstrated viewing and annotation of Microsoft Word documents, the first in a list of some 200+ file formats which are planned for support in 2006. 		Image streaming using ViewONE & ViewONE Pro's 'TIFF Splitter' servlet
		To improve viewing speed of large multipage image files, Daeja has produced a 'TIFF Splitter' which splits the multipage document on the fly and passes down the document in individual pages, as required. These individual pages are then cached for fluid document browsing. For more information email: marketing@daeja.com

In addition, the Daeja team also performed demonstrations of the ease of integration of the viewers, showing how administrators can embed ViewONE Pro within a web page within just five minutes, and enable JavaScript controls for document viewing within another five minutes.

COMPETITION RESULT

Our 'Spot The Difference' competition proved popular with visitors to the booth. Entrants had to highlight the differences between two TIFFs, two PDFs and two Word documents, all viewed within ViewONE Pro, using ViewONE Pro annotations to mark the differences.

The winner of the 30Gb video iPod is an IT Developer from North Carolina. Many thanks to all those who took the time to enter!

Attendees at the AIIM Expo were also introduced to Daeja's new VP of Sales for North America, Neil Lackstein. Neil has many years' experience of viewing software and has opened a new office for us in Boston, MA, from where he will be visiting organizations across the whole of North America.
