It's now a week since ARMA and hopefully you didn't return to an overspilling inbox and a pile of new work. I wanted to say a quick 'thank you' for visiting our booth at the show and that I hope that it was one of our booth visitors who won the 50th anniversary prize draw. If you stayed on at our booth for a demonstration of ViewONE or ViewONE Pro, I hope that you found it interesting. We have over 7,500 customer installations of ViewONE and ViewONE Pro around the world, servicing millions of users, both in-house and across the 'Net. Thousands of blue chips companies, including many Fortune 100 organizations, rely on ViewONE daily to deliver high performance image viewing, editing and annotating to all their Document and Records Management system users.

ViewONE Pro's PDF module, which allows users to view and also annotate PDFs, once again proved very popular. The opportunity to use a single viewer for PDFs, JPEGs, TIFFs, BMPs, DjVu files etc, and annotate them all using a single annotation format, is a powerful incentive for companies who use a selection of different storage formats. The New Daeja Website

Regular visitors to the Daeja website will be pleased to hear that our new website is almost ready to go live.

The new site, which contains a vast amount of new and updated information, has been designed to be simple to navigate, concise and clear, and includes a wide range of demos, trial downloads, flash movies and support information.

The site will be launched in the next few weeks and we'll email out an announcement on the day.

	Performance Improvements Most people that see ViewONE and ViewONE Pro in action are very surprised to see how fast our viewers are at decompressing and rendering to screen image files of all types. Typical speeds are measured in hundredths of a second, even for larger TIFF files, color TIFFs and JPEGs. The startup speed of the applet has also seen improvements over the years, with ViewONE Pro offering significant second savings at initial launch thanks to it's 'container applet' technology offered through the Advanced Cache Manager™ (ACM™). Following a visit this week to a customer in Germany, two members of our development team have come up with another substantial time saving at startup, making the startup of not just the ViewONE applet but also even the browser faster than most thick-client viewing applications. Currently in production testing, this enhancement will be made available shortly to both new ViewONE and ViewONE Pro customers, and existing customers subscribed to our maintenance programme. 	A faster viewing experience - new White Paper Following requests from customers still looking to shave off a vital second or two here and there, we have produced a White Paper guide focusing specifically on how to squeeze an even faster performance out of your ViewONE implementation. The White Paper explains in detail the processes involved within ViewONE when viewing images, and includes optimizing techniques such as using JavaScript, separate thumbnails, and pre-installing ViewONE Pro. ANOTHER MAJOR NEW DEAL AGREED FOR VIEWONE

Daeja has recently signed a long-term agreement with a major software manufacturer in the ECM sector to supply a rebadged version of ViewONE, and ViewONE Pro in its Daeja-badged form, to its customers.

The deal, which will be formally announced shortly, is reflective of the good relationships that Daeja works hard to build with its customers and vendors.

At Daeja, our focus has always been on providing powerful software solutions that deliver genuine value and scalability to organizations of all sizes, and our success (over 7,500 customer implementations worldwide) reflects that combination of price and performance.

The new agreement will see more customers across the globe being supplied with the ViewONE viewers, taking advantage of the viewers' in-built support for 21 languages, a figure which will continue to rise.
