ViewONE Pro Office Module

The Office Module works with the following formats:

• Word 97-2003 (.doc)
• Word 2007-2010 (.docx)
• Excel 97-2003 (.xls)
• Excel 2007-2010 (.xlsx)
• PowerPoint 97-2003 (.ppt)
• PowerPoint 2007-2010 (.pptx)
• Outlook (.msg & RFC822 .eml)

When using the Office Module there is no need to have Microsoft Office on the user's computer 'simply to view documents' which can be costly. Within the viewer the user can apply the full range of annotations, text mark-ups, highlights, and redactions available, by purchasing the ViewONE Pro Annotations Module.

The Office Module works on all client and server platforms supporting Java 1.4+ including 32 and 64-bit operating systems. Due to ViewONE Pro's unique Advanced Cache Manager (ACM) that provides Module-On-Demand™ functionality, no client installation is required - the module is automatically downloaded to the local ViewONE Pro cache folder when the user first clicks on a file which requires the module for viewing.

This 'zero rollout' means that you can save the time, effort, training and costs normally associated with supporting multiple viewers. Consolidating on a single viewer means only one viewer for users to learn, support, and license.
