Security settings within the viewer can be used by administrators to control the ability to create or delete annotations, and the opportunity to 'sign' approvals with an electronic signature stamp.

ViewONE requires no configuration on the user's machine - the applet automatically downloads to cache without user intervention where it is automatically configured for use. This means that an entire health authority or State Health Department could enable all of its healthcare professionals within that region to access image documents held on a central server quickly.
